About Mayyil

Mayyil is a concept by Zataro Group, the mother brand of the concept and sister company of Beit El Zaytoun. Established in 2022, our quick service restaurant offers an authentic Lebanese street food experience, showing there’s more to enjoy here than never-ending tables of abundant meza.

Across its two branches in London’s Knightsbridge and Notting Hill, Mayyil blends tradition with innovation to share the best of Lebanese cuisine and hospitality in a fast-paced world. It thus comes as no surprise that “Mayyil” translates to “Pass by,” reflecting the convenience of our quick, wholesome eats. We’re here for customers looking for a fast casual restaurant to stop in for a flavourful bite on their way to wherever they’re headed. We are expected to open the 3rd branch by Q4, 2024 in Angel, Islington!

As for where we’re going? The UAE, with Mayyil’s first Emirati branches set to open their doors by the beginning of 2025.

My choice of the Lebanese Burger might not be what they specialize in but it's what I was craving and it satisfied that in a big way. Service was very good and with a smile. Small seating area but I got lucky and a place was vacated before my burger arrived. I'll definitely go back to try their other sandwiches and wraps.

Food is delicious, all sandwiches are tasty, the service is great, staff are welcoming; the place is express, as it states, however, we managed to get seated (3 persons) to dine in. Lovely place.
